OpenShell is the safe, private runtime for autonomous AI agents. https://docs.nvidia.com/openshell/latest/ Important New in OpenShell 0.1.x: a stable release cadence, new isolation primitives, an expanded extension surface, and new APIs. Read the 0.1.0 upgrade guide. OpenShell is the safe, private runtime for fleets of autonomous AI agents. Agents are most useful when they can read files, install packages, call APIs, and use credentials. OpenShell gives them that capability without giving them unrestricted access to your data, secrets, or network. You declare what each agent can touch in a policy, and OpenShell enforces it. How It Works OpenShell governs what agents can do in two ways: it instruments the kernel to enforce policy on every file access, system call, and network connection at…

- Ask HN: How do you handle hitting AI coding agent usage limits?
hn-ai· 30-sept
One topic I've been researching lately is the best way to handle switching to another agent when I hit a usage limit on one of them. For example, if I hit the usage limit on Codex, I would want to switch to Claude Code and vice versa. The important part is not losing the ongoing context/task(s) when switching between the tools.. I have found a few things that say they do this but none seem to have much traction. As a result, I was hoping to pick the brain of HN'ers to see how you all handle this (To head off comments regarding 'pay for a better plan for more usage' - I can't currently really afford the jump from $20 a month per agent to $100-200/m per agent) Comments URL: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49904074 Points: 1 # Comments: 2
